April is Missions Month at Lewisburg Bible Church. On April 29th, guests Caleb and Andrea Beech and Family, missionary appointees with World Team Missions to the Philippines will be sharing. Lewisburg Bible Church is located at 311 Hospital Drive.

The Women’s Center of Columbia and Montour Counties will present a Mock Rape Trial on April 24th at the Columbia County Courthouse, Bloomsburg. Kingdom Kidz, Watsontown, is holding a Benefit Auction and a Silent Auction, to raise funds to purchase the building they are currently renting. The annual Ladies Day at Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, Pitman, will be held on Saturday, April 28th with registration from 8 to 9 a.m. The program will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The theme is “Hope: Everything Comes Alive”. The Degenstein Community Library will be hosting a Quizzo event on Saturday, April 28th at 7 p.m. Teams of 4 to 6 players are invited to attend. Rally Day will be held Sunday, April 29th, 9:45 a.m. at Aline United Methodist Church at Mt. Pleasant Mills. The Danelle Cressinger Band will minister and Terry Cressinger will share the message. A covered dish fellowship meal will be held in the Aline Schoolhouse at 12:15 p.m. Follow Route 104 south from Mt. Pleasant Mills to the covered bridge and turn west on Aline Church Road.

Landmark Apostolic Church, Riverside, will be holding its annual First Responders Appreciation Day on Sunday, April 29th at 10 a.m. The church is located at 1925 Sunbury Road. All emergency responders and their families are invited. An appreciation picnic will also be held.

A Congregational Hymn sing and homemade ice cream social will be held Sunday, April 29th, 6 p.m. at New Hope Bible Church, 310 Raven Lane, Mifflinburg.

Camp Courage, a free camp for grieving children and teens who have lost a loved one, is now accepting applications for a camp weekend to be held Friday, May 18th to Sunday, May 20th. Dreisbach Church will hold a Rummage, Soup, and Bake Sale Thursday, May 3rd from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Friday, May 4th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, May 5th from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The church is located 5 miles west of Lewisburg off Route 45 on Dreisbach Road.

Meadowview Christian Academy will hold its Spring Festival, Saturday, May 5th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the RCA Fairgrounds, 700 Maple Street in Coal Township. The Buffalo Valley Singers Chorus is performing John Rutter’s Requiem with orchestra. Performances are Saturday, May 5th, 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 6th, 4:30 p.m. at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1050 Buffalo Road, Lewisburg. Admission is $10.

Meadowbrook Christian School, Milton, will hold an Art Festival Friday, May 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be a student art show, a silent art auction, a live art auction and a Taste of the Arts ticketed food sampling. Camp Mount Luther, Mifflinburg, will hold its 11th Annual Bishop’s Open Golf Classic on Monday, May 14th at the Susquehanna Valley Country Club in Shamokin Dam. A “Make a Joyful Noise…..MusicFest” will be held Saturday, May 19th, 1 to 6 p.m. at James Short Park at 2301 Northway Road, Williamsport. The outdoor community gathering brings uplifting music and fun for the entire family. The event will feature Kimberly Adair and Soulful, Crossfyre, River Valley Fellowship and other groups. The Kingdom Kidz Puppeteers will have a show beginning at 4 p.m. Admission is Free. Bring your lawn chairs.
