Mountain Road God’s Missionary Church is holding Fall Revival Services October 22nd through the 27th. Services will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday and on Sunday at 10:30 AM and 6:00 PM. Rev. Keith Ledford will preach and the Tim Cooley Jr. Family will sing. The church is located on 1532 Mountain Road in Penns Creek.
Trunk or Treat will be held at the First Baptist Church of Danville on Wednesday, October 23rd from 5:30 till 7:30 p.m. There will be lots of treats, hot dogs, games and hayrides and the event will be held rain or shine. The church is located at 12 Brookside Drive.
A Fall Festival will be held at the Maranatha Christian School in Watsontown on Saturday, October 26th. Supper will be served from 4 till 6:30 p.m. followed by Ventriloquist Ryan and Friends at 7 p.m. Supper and the event are on a donation basis and the proceeds benefit the school located at 1485 Plotts Road.
Sunbury Christian Academy will be holding its annual Race for Education 5K/FunRun event on Saturday, October 26th. All runners and walkers are invited to participate! This year’s event will conclude with a chicken barbecue, with meal platters available for takeout beginning at 11:30. Race Day sign-in & registration begins at 8:30am and closes at 9:45. 5K and FunRun begin at 10:00am. 5K Registration is $30. Registration is available in the school office and online at sunburychristianacademy.org.
The Lykens Valley Childrens Museum will celebrate their First Birthday on Saturday, October 26th from Noon until 5 p.m. Reliance Hose Company from Elizabethville will be there from 2 till 3 p.m. Light snacks will be provided. The museum is located at 33 S Market street in Elizabethville.
Elysburg Alliance Church will hold their annual Trunk or Treat on Sunday, October 27th from 6 till 9 p.m. Children up to 5th grade and their families are welcome to attend. The church is located at 113 Alpha Avenue.
October is Missions Month at the Lewisburg Bible Church and each Sunday morning at 9:15 will be an informal time with missionaries showing pictures and answering questions and then at 10:30 a.m. a missionary will share during the worship service. The church will wrap up the Missions Month on October 27th with Joe Aurand from Golden Rule Love in Milton.
Beavertown God’s Missionary Church invites you to revival meetings October 29th through November 3rd. Rev David Spivey will speak and music will be provided by the Benjamin McDowell Family. The annual Gospel Echoes Banquet will be held on Monday, November 4th at 6:30 p.m. at the Country Cupboard in Lewisburg. The Crossroads Church of the Nazarene will hold a Drive Thru Chicken BBQ on Saturday, November 2nd from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The meal is $ 10 and half chicken only is $ 7. The church is located at 71 Nazarene Lane at the intersection of Routes 147 and 45.
Emmanuel’s Kettle Free Meal and Fellowship will feature a Salute to Veterans event on Saturday, November 2nd from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church Route 254 in Millville. Christ Wesleyan Church Theatre Productions will present Beauty and the Beast, the Broadway musical, on Thursday, November 7th and Friday November 8th at 7 p.m., Saturday November 9th at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday November 10th at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at cwtheatre.org or at the Well Read Bookstore at the church.
In Honor of Our Veterans – The musical group Re Creation will present a concert followed by a 21 gun salute and playing of taps by the Danville American Legion Honor Guard on Sunday, November 3rd at 9:30 a.m. at the Mooresburg Presbyterian Church. The church is located at 21 Church Road.
The Penn View Bible Institute 15th Annual Christmas Benefit Auction will be on Friday, November 8 from 3:00 PM until 12:00 AM. The auction will be help on the campus of Penn View Bible in the Mason McIntire Student Life Center, 80 Campus Drive, Middleburg. All proceeds benefit Penn View Bible Institute and Christian Academy. The 7th Annual Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, November 9th from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Berwick Christian Church. There will be door prizes, a Chinese auction, food and bake sale, wood items, craft items and more. The church is located at 701 E 5th Street.
The Annual Veterans Day Military Parade will be held on Saturday, November 9th in Bloomsburg. Parade forms at 9 a.m. at the Bloomsburg Hospital Parking lot and moves at 10 a.m. The parade travels down Main street to Market street ending at the Bloomsburg Fire Department. A special service recognizing veterans is held after the parade and followed by a meal.
Gold City Quartet will be in concert Saturday, November 9th at 7 p.m. at the Bunkertown Church of the Brethren in McAlisterville. A freewill offering will be received. The church is located at 52 Bunkertown road.
First Baptist Church of Sunbury is holding Revival Services from Sunday, November 10th through Wednesday, November 13th. Lou Mancari from Lynchburg, Virginia will be the speaker and the Wehry Family from Northumberland will provide special music. Service times are as follows: Sunday Morning at 10:30 AM, Sunday Evening at 6:00 PM; and Monday through Wednesday at 7:00 PM. The church is located at 115 South 4th Street in Sunbury.

The Rick Webb Family will present a Christmas concert on Saturday, November 23rd at 7 p.m. at the Berwick High School. The concert is hosted by Berwick Bible Church who will be collecting canned goods for the Berwick Food Bank. The school is located at 1100 Fowler Avenue.
The Annual Christmas Craft show of local hand crafted items will be held on Saturday, November 23rd from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Crossroads Church of the Nazarene in Montandon. The church is located at the intersection of Route 147 and 45. There will be food stands available as well.
Emmanuel’s Kettle Free Meal and Fellowship will be held on Saturday, December 7th from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church Route 254 in Millville. The free meal will be held the first Saturday of the month from September through May.
