The free Saturday Trains program, in its fifteenth year at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church at the corner of Pine and East Market streets in Danville, will be open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon with dozens of trains, a model merry-go-round that children and adults can play with, , 30 pushbuttons that activate the exhibit’s operating attractions. Also – The non-profit Loose Ties Model Railroad Club shows its electric trains in a free display every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Silver Moon Flea Market on Route 15, two miles north of Lewisburg in Union County.

Griefshare a special help seminar and support group for people experiencing grief and loss will be held Tuesday evenings at 7pm at the Benton Christian Church – from February 11th through May 5th. The church is located at the corner of Church and Third Streets.

Kingdom Kidz Puppet Theatre will present a dinner theatre on Sunday, February 16th, at the puppet home, with the meal being served at 12:30 p.m. followed by the Valentines puppet presentation at 1:15 p.m. The puppet home is located at 11 E Third Street in Watsontown. The meal is free, however donations are accepted.

Calvary Baptist Church of Bloomsburg will hold its annual Sportsmans Banquet on Saturday February 22nd at 6 p.m. Bring along a dish to share, anything is fine but if you have fish or wild game that would be appreciated. Grace Chapel in Shamokin will have their 4th annual Venison Dinner on February 22nd. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. A Turkey Hunting workshop will be presented by Rob Smith, owner of Bait, Barrels and Bows. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. followed by a presentation by archery instructor Pastor Gary Buchman. Seating is limited – pre register by calling 570-648-0372.

A Sportsmen’s dinner sponsored by Mount Pleasant Mills United Methodist Charge will be held at the Fremont Social Hall on Saturday, February 22nd from 3 till 8 p.m. Cost is $ 10 for adults and $ 5 for children 12 and under. Fremont social hall is located at 299 Millrace Road in Mt Pleasant Mills.

The Harbour Lights Singing Group will be giving a program at Faith Christian Fellowship , 12 N Creamery Ave, Middleburg, PA on Tuesday, February 25 at 7:30pm.

Columbia County Christian school will hold a Kindergarten Open House on Tuesday, February 25th from 6 till 7:30 p.m. The school is located at 138 Schoolhouse Road, Bloomsburg.

Meadowbrook Christian School in Milton will present the musical “ANNIE” on March 5th and 6th at 7 p.m. and March 7th at 2 p.m.. Tickets are $ 10 for adults and $ 8 for students and can be purchased at the school office weekdays, at the Well Read Bookstore, or at the door prior to the show. The school is located at 363 Stamm Road in Milton.

The Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethern will hold an auction on Saturday, March 7th starting at 4 p.m. There will be baked goods, hand crafted items, tickets for events, quilts, tools and much more. Proceeds go towards the building debt retirement. The food stand will open at 3 p.m. Buffalo Valley church of the Brethren is located 1.5 miles west of Mifflinburg on Route 45.

Ballet Magnificat – Deliver Us will be presented at the Christ Wesleyan Church of Milton on March 13th at 7 p.m. The presentation features the story of Moses and Egypt. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at www.cwtheatre.org or prior to the performance in the lobby.

Community Mennonite Fellowship in Milton is looking for someone to serve as Director of Congregational Ministries for their church. Responsibilities would include leading ministries in having a vision for the future, overseeing short term ministry, linking volunteers to ministry needs and supervising several staff members. Buffalo Mennonite Church in Lewisburg will host a singing group from Rosedale Bible College on Monday, April 6th at 7 p.m. The group from Ohio will present songs focused on the Cross and Resurrection as we get ready for Resurrection Sunday. A freewill offering will be received. The church is located at 4445 Hoffa Mill Road.

The PCC Corner of Hope will hold their annual Walk, Run and Ride 4 Life on Saturday, May 9th at Knoebels. Registration starts at 9 a.m. at the Pavilion followed by the walk at 10 a.m. followed by lunch and door prizes. For more information you can call 570-648-2600. The event will be held rain or shine.
