The 6th Annual Roger Snyder Memorial Race 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Kids’ Fun Run will be held Saturday, March 25th at Basom Memorial Park, Heister Valley Road in Richfield. The Richfield Evangelical Methodist Youth group will hold a benefit auction on Saturday, March 25th beginning at 9 a.m. An “All you can Eat” sausage and pancake breakfast will be served from 7 to 10 a.m. All this at the Fremont Fire Hall in Mt. Pleasant Mills. Proceeds benefit the summer mission trip.

Applications are being accepted through March 31st for the 2017 Troop N Camp Cadet program. The Camp Cadet program is open to boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 14 who live in the Troop N area, and will be held July 16 through July 21st at Penn State Hazleton Campus. Applications have been distributed to most of the local schools located throughout the Troop N Area and can be obtained from police stations in Hazleton, Bloomsburg, Lehighton, Fern Ridge and Swiftwater.

“Rejoicing Spirits”, a community ministry created for those with varying disabilities and their families and caregivers, will be held the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist church, Lewisburg. Refreshments will follow the service. The church is located at 42 South 4th Street.

The non-profit Loose Ties Model Railroad Club is showing its electric trains in a free display, every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Silver Moon Flea Market on Route 15, two miles north of Lewisburg.

The free Saturday train display at Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, Pine and East Market Streets, Danville, is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. Along with with dozens of trains, there is a model merry-go-round that children and adults can play with, also, there are 30 new pushbuttons that activate the exhibit’s operating attractions.

Columbia County Christian School will hold its annual Benefit auction on Saturday, April 1st. Doors open at 8 a.m.. The silent auction is at 8:30 a.m. and the live auction begins at 9:30 a.m. There will be a large selection of items including, antiques, collectibles, sporting goods, gift certificates, beach vacation packages and more.

The Sacrament will be served by Intinction. and Easter Sunday, April 16th, a special Sunrise Service will be held at 6:30 a.m. at Riverfront Park in Danville. Easter Worship will be held at 10:15 a.m. in the Grove Sanctuary. All choirs will offer special music. Professional Childcare is provided at all Services.
